Thierry Felix


First Price of the Queen Elisabeth of Belgium Competition 1992, born in France, Thiérry Félix is studying at the Conservatoire National de Paris with prof. Jane Berbié where he won a First Price, in Vienna he is finalist at the Mozart Competition.
In Paris he sings Salle Pleyel in Freischütz with the Orchestre Symphonique Français and in an Offenbach programme with the same orchestra.
He makes a Tour in Japan with recitals and concerts.

His first recital in France is taking place in Paris at Radio France. Since then he is giving many concerts and recitals in Belgium, at the Printemps des Arts in Monte-Carlo, in Paris (Bastille Foyer) at the Foyer of La Scala, in Lyon, Francfort, at the Richter Festival, in La Grange de Meslay, at the Brucknerhaus, in Paris Comédie des Champs Elysées, at Wigmore Hall etc…

He also performs with the Orchestre National de Belgique (Brahms Requiem), the Filharmonish orkest van Vlaanderen, (Haydn's "Creation") the Orchestre des Pays de la Loire (Mahler’s Kindertotenlieder), Ensemble Orchestral de Paris (Bach Cantatas) ... At the Bastille he debutes with Hermann (Hoffmann's Tales) and sings Zuniga (Carmen). At the Théâtre du Châtelet, he sings the "One armed" "Frau ohne Schatten" under Mo. von Dohnanyi, and in Salome with Mo Bychkov. He also sings Dandini in Rouen and Guglielmo in Brussels and Masetto in Anverp...

He recorded for EMI the role of the Fossoyeur in "Hamlet" under A. de Almeida, and many recordings with Marc Minkovski for DGG/Archiv. As well as Lieder from Schubert, Fauré, Debussy for Arcana.

Since 2000 he is singing at l’Opéra Comique (Leporello) then in Nancy Kuno in “Freischuetz” then Bartholo in St Gallen and again during the fall/winter 99 in St Gallen during the 99/2OOO season,in Antwerpen in “Platée’’ with Marc Minkovski,
in Toulouse in Nono’s “ Capello di Paglia ” in Lausanne in “Freischütz“. He sings Morales in “Carmen” under M° Daniel Oren at the San Carlo, Naples and Schaunard in “La Bohème” in St Gallen as well as Beethoven 9th with M° Jean-Yves Ossonce.
He also sings Haydn “The Seasons” at the Orchestre National de Lille (M° Ion Marin) Truffaldino in “Ariadne auf Naxos” in Marseille and the “Kroenugsmesse” with Orchestre Lamoureux in Paris, and a production of the “Fairy Queen” with C. Rousset in Spain with whom eh also sings again in France. He is Zuniga in Carmen at the Stade de France in Paris 2003 and will perform the Count” in Nozze di Figaro in Tours, concerts with the Orchestre National de France and he will also appear in Puccini’s "La Rondine" at the Capitole in Toulouse and at the Châtelet Paris.
